Legion is quite high up a mature red gum and out on a limb tip - you can see the branch he is sitting on is not very thick at all. But he's happily enjoying his dinner this way.
A healthy wild koala will spend most of his time up quite high - it's always a sign of possible illness to find a koala down low in a tree or on the ground ...
