super grip

Stevie demonstrating the ability to hold tight and sleep deep all wrapped into one. Perspective insert still doesn't show high off the ground 30m really is.
Thank you for commenting, I appreciate them all!
He looks very snug, all tucked up

It's a good thing that koalas aren't afraid of heights! Nice pic!

"I'll never let you go " comes to mind ! -- so amazing of the strength and suppleness of this bundle of fur ! Love the little inset showing the height in the trees !

She has herself folded up for sleep, and I really like the inset that shows me how high up in the tree she is! That's one thing that always boggles my mind when I watch your videos, how the koala is so far up in the tall tree. Plus- I can still see one of her wonderful fuzzy ears!

Great capture of his sleeping position :)

With a wedge from behind and those gripping claws, she's going nowhere until she's ready! You're photography is put to the test to have to get your shot from so far away, ... but she's easier to find here than a hummingbird's nest!

@Weezilou oh Louise so true, in this case she couldn't have been easier to spot, this is the classic like something round on a dog situation :) But the distance away is very typical of most of my photos as that is where koalas live, it's not often at all that they are closer down than maybe 10m or so. When they are you can bet they are in really dense leaves and it's even harder to get a shot lol I can only imagine how hard it might be to find a hummingbird nest! makes me want to google them now lol

Just can't see how they can hold on and sleep at the same time. Great shot.
