VML how we can see the thickness of his pelt and his unique markings. In addition to your photo identity data of them all, do you make/keep diagrams of each koala from specific angles to confirm photos and/or vice versa?
@teriyakih I'm not sure, but they seem to be able to hold a grip even when deeply asleep. The also kind of wedge themselves in, but then I've seen them fast asleep curled in a ball, not holding or wedged in at all. I would certainly roll right off :)
@s4sayer I have lots of photos, but I only use the nose pattern for recognition as it is the most reliable. those mottled rumps can really look quite different depending on the angle and way they are perched so it's too difficult. :)
