As I caught Jordan yawning I was impressed by how well he has shown off his lower incisors - look closely at how long they are. The black on his teeth is perfectly normal for a koala and is not a problem.
Even though you can see the battery box on his tracking collar (he is part of an important project), it is not bothering him at all.
I also love the colour and texture matching between him and the pink bloodwood tree he is in.
So far we remain safe from the fires raging through the area. A little cooler today, but still a lot of wind about.
Aw so sweet, I have never seen koalas teeth before. I am so pleased you are still safe from the fires. I have been checking out the area where you live and hope you manage to stay fire free.
A wonderful capture , those teeth look scissors sharp .Love the mono tones as Jordan blends in with his surroundings . Super textures from the rough tree trunk to his furry coat - fav
I'm glad to know all is in good order with Jordan's teeth and there's no need for a visit to the koala dentist! I'm also glad to hear you remain fire free but do hope the areas that are burning can be stopped soon. Great shot!
