hunker down it's cyclonic

Well I'm now cut off from town (but I have plenty of supplies). https://youtu.be/wpp95OTff0Q
The rain is easing but waters will continuing rising of course. The koalas are just keeping their heads down when it rains, and eating all they can when it stops. Better than drought, but I'd be happy if we didn't have to live with extremes.
It looks a wet existence!

Oh, Bless! She does look rather battered.

Stay safe! Such extreme weather. We experienced a cyclone in January this year in Sydney, so know what challenges you face!
December 14th, 2020
Sweet thing. Hope all will be well!
December 14th, 2020
Hanging on tight too with all fingers & toes....stay safe...

Hang in there! Stay safe in such wild weather.
December 14th, 2020
Nice capture. Be safe.
December 14th, 2020
You certainly do seem to get extremes! Stay safe.
December 14th, 2020
Great cute capture.
( Blame the global warming up for that.)
December 14th, 2020
Good luck weathering your extreme conditions. I see now that it was a frivolous interpretation but, at first glance, this looked to be a Koala playing hide and seek, being ‘it’, and counting to 100.
December 14th, 2020
@gardencat 🤣🤣 she's definitely playing hide and seek with mother nature and hoping not to find any more storm 😊🐨🤣
December 14th, 2020
It sounds like a tough time there right now
December 14th, 2020
@carole_sandford we sure do nowadays - there are no real patterns anymore. as @pyrrhula says, thanks global warming for all the radical climate changes!
December 14th, 2020
Who is this, he/she looks so small.
December 14th, 2020
Stay safe..............hope the rain stops.
Such a sweet shot!
December 14th, 2020
Do you want me to build the ark? We were supposed to get some of your rain too, but for some reason it just went further north. We have had some rain but not much. Stay safe.
December 15th, 2020
Hope it soon passes over for you all.
December 15th, 2020
Hold on tight! Hope it passes soon for you
December 15th, 2020
Aww poor thing! Hanging on with all fours!
December 15th, 2020
@dutchothotmailcom that's little Ellie, she is a tiny little 2.5-3kg but she's tenacious!
December 15th, 2020
@onewing I think I better get that ark order in now, yes please! 🤣
December 15th, 2020

December 15th, 2020
She seems to adapt. I hope the weather will improve quickly bringing more normal conditions.
December 15th, 2020
Holding on tight
December 15th, 2020
Wow, does look like she is hanging of for dear life. Great shot and video.
December 15th, 2020
Great shot. I enjoyed the video as well.
December 15th, 2020
They’re even cute when hunkered down. James Gleik’s book Chaos describes this. Upset an equilibrium system and you get extremes.
December 15th, 2020
Great video of of your hunkered down Koalas. Hope the extreme condition eases and that you will stay safe.
December 15th, 2020
Hanging on there!
December 15th, 2020
Such a cute shot. And love the video as well!
December 15th, 2020
Get used to it:) This little one looks accustomed to it and very cute.
December 15th, 2020
A great shot, Stay safe :)
December 15th, 2020
Wow stay safe
December 15th, 2020
Ellie looks like she got a perm! Glad to hear you're safe and well-supplied. But then I imagine you are pretty much ready for anything most of the time!
December 15th, 2020
Stick firmly and avoid seasickness. Stay safe.
December 16th, 2020
It’s lucky they like to be high up in the trees. You might have to join them KG. I hope the weather improves for you soon.
