She really has grown a lot over the summer. Hopefully she is now a nursing mother, I suspect she gave birth a couple of weeks ago. Time will tell if I'm right.
@k9photo koalas are marsupials, so they give birth after only 35 days, and that tiny little joey the size of a jelly bean, crawls into her pouch. it then drinks milk and continues growing in there, sometimes peeking out, sometimes you see a hand coming out. At around 6 - 7 months old, the joey will begin to come out completely and learn to ride on mums back and eat leaves and wean from the milk.
Do hope she has a joey.
