Black-faced cuckoo-shrike

I would love to know how many different bird species are here, as I probably only notice about 20% of them. I hadn't noticed this kind of bird until I saw it and grabbed this shot. The birdlife just teems here, either high in the tree tops, or amongst the long native grasses. This is a protected species bird, but I believe they are fairly prolific in this area.
Nice capture. When i met up with husband & wife bird watchers at the wetlands in Ingham they were seeing birds that i would have passed by if it hadn,t been for them .I stayed with them at their very steady pace and saw a lot more than i would have on my own.

Great capture, I almost got a shot of one of these while waiting for my bee eater.
