I finally got to make a collage to try and show how long the spider lily garden line is - maybe a 50m garden front at a guess. Thank you so much for viewing and commenting on my photos!
My late husband planted these - they all came from a single clump that he removed from another garden area and split up, planting one small plant all the way along here. This was done around 6 years ago and I always have fond memories of him whenever they are in bloom. He totally loved flowers and gardening, a bit like me :)
That's a nice collage. I'm still looking for one that works as it should. I downloaded one for free yesterday. It was really pretty crappy. But when I went to finish it, they demanded payment to get rid of what they call a watermark, but was really an opague ad for them which blocked the center 40 percent of the collage. All that time wasted. And if it was a good program, I might have purchased it. But it really stunk. Had to make it over on another program that has been discontinued.
@mbrutus oh how frustrating! I use photoshop, this means manually doing everything, so it did take a while to put this together. it still does not really show the length of lilies. even creating a really long panorama would not work as for half the length there would be things in front of the garden, hence some of the shot are standing and shooting along the garden, rather than the top image where I just shoot looking directly at it.
still it keeps me amused when I'm not actually working in the garden!
