The exact mm is hard to gauge for me on the powershot because the calibrations are quite widely spaced but I think this is pretty close to 50mm and is def sooc. I tried this on a whim, then used the zoom to get the kind of image I would normally use. I ended up like the composition and lighting in this and decided to present it in the challenge :)
@koalagardens a great photo. If you are ever unsure of the focal length, and you wish to check it you can click on the 'view info' on the right hand side of the 365 site where it says 'EXIF' and it should tell you the focal length. Or you can right click on the image on your computer and choose 'fle information' and it will tell you the aperture, speed, ISO and focal length.
@kgolab thanks for those tips - it's when I'm out there with camera in hand that I need the help of course for the nifty fifty challenge there is a conversion to use if you are not using a 50mm lens, and I don't know what is for this camera. Richard gave the conversion when I'm using the Olympus so I'm on target there. @vignouse maybe you can tell me what should I shoot at when using this camera?
