I feel this is the bigger one of the two - each night this one is coming into my backyard and sitting on my girl-as-a-fountain. I turned on the spotlight and got a few snaps. Nearly as delightful as having koalas around!
This is really lovely and it must be lovely to get a shot of him in your garden. Owls fly around in our garden at night calling to each other but I'm in bed by that time so I never get a shot. However, I did get a shot during the day today which I've posted and I was excited about. Fav for this lovely shot
Just spotted this pic - lovely capture of the tawny frogmouth. I've met a couple at a local wildlife sanctuary, and we occasionally see one around campus. Their feathers are so soft.
