You are heading into Autumn I believe (in theory we should have summer one day soon!). Your Dragons lay eggs which as nymphs will then spend a few years as voracious carnivores in the pond or stream where the eggs were laid. One day, if you are very fortunate, you will see the nymph climb out of the water grasp a leaf and then the adult Dragonfly will emerge - I'm still waiting!

@jesika2 thanks for that information - wouldn't it be amazing to see that transformation and capture it? nature is brilliant - I wonder how many species live in my natural pond, I bet it would be mind blowing to catalogue them all!
