Fan Tailed Cuckoo

I had never noticed this bird on the property before. Such a pretty bird, and a native, but being a cuckoo we know what happens. Thank you for the many lovely comments on my photos, all appreciated!

At first glance and without seeing the tail , I thought it to be a pale version of our European Robin ! but alas a cuckoo !! although a pretty one !
