for a close to a month this tawny was perched in that same forest red gum, and I often posted photos. Then on July 23, Maxine was featured here showing her first bit of joey, and she was in the branch directly above, but the tawny was gone. Hadn't seen him since, until aha I spied him nestled in here in nearby bloodwood gully. He was there again today, so it seems I found the hidey hole :) Thank you so much for all comments and being along with me, it's wonderful company here!
Those guys blend in so much, it would be hard to spot them, if they are anywhere near the height of the koala's. Great capture.,
