This is a pink bottle brush and the first flower to come out on this particular bush in a new garden area I've been working on. This is a really important native flower for so many birds, insects, mammals and lizards and comes in quite a range of colours. Red is the most common and so some people are surprised at the range of bush sizes, growth patterns and flower differences.
I was pleased it decided to be ready for the rainbow challenge. Thank you for the awesome comments and questions on my photos. I decided not to faff this one as they are so stunning just as they are.
