one last new species to end my month by koalagardens

one last new species to end my month

What a month it has been for me to be really watching the birdbath so closely. I had discovered 2 species of birds I had not seen before (more for lack of watching so closely than anything) and I just found one more to end the month!
This is the yellow faced honeyeater, and that facial stripe is quite lovely!
I'm not sure what I'm going to do in this album for December now my month of birdbaths is over!
Thank you for the lovely messages of concern and support during this awful time of fire.
another beauty, hope they all return.

A beautiful series of bird baths. It's good that you could help them in this difficult time.

I have really enjoyed seeing all the birds visiting your birdbath. Never seen a yellow faced honeyeater before, we have blue faced honeyeaters here.

Very streamlined looking bird.
I've enjoyed your November birdbath pictures. Lots of fun to be able to look through this 'window' into your part of the world, all the way from my cold and icy Canadian location.
