love those native bees!

Notice the very circular pieces cut out of the rose leaf? That is from the leaf cutter bee which is a native bee. The roll that circle of leaf into a little cradle inside her burrow and lay her eggs in the cradles. Fascinating stuff - roses are their favourite leaves, and I don't at all mind sharing with them.
Now I'm all ready to drop the colour for a month of FoR in Feb.
Fabulous shot with lovely framing and interesting story of you native Bees.
