a wandering native by koalagardens

a wandering native

there are so many varieties of commelina and many are Australian natives and in their right place of course are, well, in their right place. there are some varieties however that are downright invasive. this one is not, and the flower is tiny and rather a delight.
Beautifully blue!

Nice shot Katrina - we have these too ( at Stanthorpe) and at first I thought they were yet another weed to do battle with. I'm still unsure so I just leave them alone - they don't seem to spread too much.

@robz there are a lot of varieties - the white flowering ones I believe are not native and they grow rampant and really thick and need attention
this one is fine and no, they just meander through, not take over
