I seem to have attracted 4 pigeons, that I would have thought are maybe homing pigeons as they all have leg rings. If they are still around tomorrow I guess I need to see how you try to find out if someone has lost their birds.
@robz I've got them on FB lost and found - apparently they seem like racing pigeons and maybe just doing a stopover (but this is their third night here and they are shitting all over my verandahs as they want to sleep inside a sheltered area ugh). if still here Monday I will try and catch one as apparently one of the leg bands will identify the owner. please come and collect!!!
It has really made me appreciate all the wild species of pigeon and dove I have on the property as they don't try to live in my house 🤣
I asked Hans. he had racing pigeons when he was a young boy. his suggestion is to google the closest Racing Pidgeon Association, they'll most likely will take care of it. it's a beautiful shot of this bird.
