this is one of the several hundred shrubs that I've planted along one property border after removing the barbed wire fence. It was planted earlier this year and is still only about half a metre tall, but flowering for the first time.

How beautiful that must look when they have grown a bit more. I find it fabulous that you can remove your barbed wire and replace it with shrubs. Here it is the other way round, people are putting up barbed wire and electric fences. So sad!
