White Farm

The 4 hour trip from Saskatoon to small town Vegreville, Alberta for a friend's New Year's Eve wedding was gorgeous, with hoar frost covering the vegetation for most of the way... Giving plenty of shoot-through-the-window shots. It got even prettier when the sun came out for a brief period to make the snow glitter.
This is gorgeous! Sure looks cold!!

Wow, what a cold little dwelling that must be, but ever so pretty just the same. A NYE wedding must have been fun too!

Incredible shot! Wonderful composition and I love the muted tones. The little house looks so small too! I love all the horizontal lines in this.

@bkbinthecity ~ Can't remember exactly - definitely on the Sask side because I drove after Lloydminster... maybe about an hour east of Lloyd?

Beautiful shot!

That is such a wonderful shot! Is it just the perspective, or did you do a little tilt shift or something to this? Whatever it is, it's truly fantastic! fav!

Beautiful tones and lines! Gotta love the 'out-the-window' prairie pics!

@m9f9l ~ Thanks, Mary! Nope, no tilt shift on this one and actually very little post processing - some boost in contrast.

Love your albums! You have such great photos of kids :)and lots of amazing closeups! It sounds like you are off for a great vacation, so in honor of your holidays my challenge to you sell your vacation! If you were to make a postcard of your destination, what would you show? Could be historical, could be cultural, could be people, or attractions, or food. Show me what is special and unique about your destination; make me "wish I was there".

@valhamil ~ Yay! Looking forward to this challenge! Now off to pack... :)
