It's been quite a ride. I've loved this project, I've cursed this project, and now I've completed this project.
I started with a goal of taking a picture a day with no fillers, and I made it! It was tough going, but once I made it through my labour day with a photo, I didn't feel there was a really good excuse for any other day.
I've learned so much about photography, composition, and editing, but the treasure I love the most is being more attuned to the beauty all around me - the way the light hits a mundane object, a loving glance, an evocative shadow. I can't always capture them, but I certainly do appreciate them.
This community is amazing. Thank you all!
And as Juliet marches into her threes (I started off with her jumping into her twos: http://365project.org/kph129/365/2012-05-16), I am marching on to other projects in my life. I'll definitely be carrying on with my photographic journey, but am not sure how much I'll be posting to 365.
Congratulations on finishing your 365 and with no fillers too! It's been lovely following you although I'm pretty absent mostly. Good luck with your new projects too. Take care x
Congratulations Kristin! We will miss you, but I will definitely check out your other endeavors to stay in touch.....good luck with everything that you do!
CONGRATULATIONS! It 's such an achievement. It's been a pleasure to follow your photos and thanks for your Comments and challenges! I hope you can post occasionally so that we can continue to see your pics!! X
I love it Kristin! Beautiful shot. I will miss you on here but I have found you on facebook. I have a flickr account but haven't had time for it lately. I will add you if I get back there.
Congratulations on finishing, and with no fillers! I have enjoyed your work immensely; you have a great eye for tender moments that show how much you love your children, and this is another great example. I love how it mirrors your first picture.
I quite understand that you will cut back on 365, and I will follow you on your Facebook page. All the best for whatever you decided to pursue next!
Well done on reahing 365! - I've thoroughly enjoyed seeing your wonderful photos. Best wishes for wherever your photographic journey takes you. I love this lovely cheerful shot of your daughter!
Nice Grande Finale! It has been fun to look at your photos but I understand that this takes a lot of time and as a Mom to little ones you are kept more than busy! Congrats on finishing!
