We went to our community's kid-centric Valentine's party tonight. The evening was to be topped off by some fireworks - scheduled for 8pm, so I planned a leisurely setup to get some shots, but at 7:30, my daughter informed me that they were starting in five minutes.
It was a mad five minutes of packing up Dexter's feeding chair and getting him into his portable car seat, taking Nora to the potty, helping to get all three kids gear up in coats and boots, dashing to the car with baby seat on my arm to get my camera and tripod, and setting up. I forgot to grab my remote and the show was less than 5 minutes long, so I'm happy that I got anything, though given more time, I definitely could have done better!
