What was suppose to be a 'leisurely' 6 hour trip halfway home turned into a long, hot, frustrating 12 hour day in the car. The highway we were on was closed due to a big accident (tour bus vs tow truck resulting in over 35 injuries, many ground ambulances and a couple air ambulances) and a BIG delay for us. These inconveniences are put into perspective by the tragedy of others, so we were tired, but thankful it wasn't us involved. Our detour took us through some spectacular scenery and a quick stop at this church. About 40 degrees Celsius at this point!
