The yellow flower on the Candlefire Okra has a beautiful red center that echoes the color of the okra. I had never seen this type of okra before I visited the Dallas, Georgia Farmer's Market a few weeks ago.
KV, this is gorgeous. I've photographed okra flowers several times and many are surprised how pretty they are. These are gorgeous especially in the center. fav
Side note...how large is the Georgia Farmer's Market in Dallas? My wife and I were fascinated by your photos from there. We have family in Marrietta? Is Dallas close to there?
@thewatersphotos thanks so much for the kind words Gary. This shot was taken at the farm of one of the vendors I met at the market. The Dallas Farmer's Market is not a very big but I've found some excellent and interesting produce there. Dallas is about 20 miles or about a half hour drive from Dallas. The market is on Saturday from 8 am until noon. I try to get there early (before 9) to get the best produce.
Side note...how large is the Georgia Farmer's Market in Dallas? My wife and I were fascinated by your photos from there. We have family in Marrietta? Is Dallas close to there?
