“Safety is something that happens between your ears, not something you hold in your hands.”
--Jeff Cooper--We see the road construction signs and barrels all over all area and have seen more than a few on our camping journey. I am thankful for having roads to travel on and appreciate the hard work that goes into creating and maintaining them. Thanks for your comments on my "red" photo... most appreciated... sorry I'm not able to keep up with commenting at this time.
These orange barrels are jokingly called our "State Flower" as they spring up every year when the weather gets warmer and remains throughout the summer into Fall. As you say, it's nice to have good roads but it seems like you only get to drive on them, unobstructed, in the winter months.
It looks pretty much the same as all over here too! After building and completing the roads, they start to dig up at places as they forgot something :-(
