January 1 : Rituals

This year I'm going to combine my daily photo with my daily gratitudes.
Today I'm grateful for rituals. When my Mum died on Christmas Day 24 years ago, a friend gave me this ornament to hang on the tree as a remembrance. Every year it is the first to go on the tree and the last to come down on New Year's Day.
I'm grateful for the reminder of how much I loved her, and she me :-)

Oh this is beautiful Anne - both the ornament and the sentiment. I was just reading another 2nd year 365er and they have come up with a theme as well. Might have to get creative. This is stunning. A fave.
