I did take several shots today but I wasn't overly impressed with any (see my "extras" album) so I'm showing you this instead. It's from our trip to Hawaii and was taken January 1st when we drove around the island. I finally got to editing it today. This was the beach that was SUPER windy and caused my lens to cover in salt/sand spray almost instantly! It created an interesting feel to the image.
I know I often say this but... it really IS better large!!
@monika64 I sharpened the coconut a bit and also added a bit of definition to it and the sand. I straightened the horizon and added a little bit of a a vignette. The water really was that colour. I think the salt/sand covered lens created most of the effect.
Amazing seascape the spray and sand did play its part but a brilliant composition. Real atmosphere in the distant hills and foreboding clouds : love it !
Love it. You'll be seeing shot from my New Zealand trip for the rest of the month. That's why I go to different places to photograph the differences. Well done.
