I needed some colour today and saw this Gerbera daisy at the store. I used my shiny polka dotted wrapping paper as a backdrop and then played around with Picmonkey to make this collage using close ups of this flower and other pink shots I had in my project. This is my take on Kd Wallis's http://365project.org/kdimagery/365/2013-02-07 which I liked so much. I used circle swatches to mirror the dots in the background. This is my second version. The more I looked at the first one, I didn't like it. Thanks to those of you that already commented but my OCD made me change it!
@seanoneill I made a collage with just the swatches They were square shaped and I played with the the "roundness" of the edges until I got circles. I saved that (with a big blank where the flower was) and then made another collage with the big square with the flower (empty square swatches) and it saved it. I then layered the two separate collages into one picture combining the square and circles.
