So… I'm a tad crazy!! We had a little bit of snow the other day so I made miniature snowmen and put them in my kitchen freezer for a future photo shot. I went to my parent's house today (who live at a higher elevation) and filled a bucket with snow as ours at sea level is all but gone! We were at the mall today and I spotted these miniature scarfs designed for decorating bottles and thought they would be perfect. So, I spent an hour fine tuning the details and then carted them to the beach. I thought they looked like they are floating on an iceberg. I'm sure my neighbours think I'm a total nutter!! Oh well, it was fun and I'm happy with the results. If you have time, check them out large! Thanks for viewing and commenting!
You realllly had me!!! This is faVulous....and so creative. I was sure someone had made actually made some snowmen and put them afloat...well I guess you did!! Sooooo cute. FAV
Absolutely ADORABLE, and so worth the effort!! Look at that, you are already on PP and Trending! Congrats! They look fabulous, and I love their reflections on the water, and of course, those tiny scarves are priceless!! And, yes, all creative people are a bit "nutters"!
Well you only have to look at the faves & comments here to know you are not mad...very artistically inclined I would say.....fantastic all round & worth all the effort! Fave here too.
Incredible. When I think of all the things that could have sunk this it's amazing how perfect it turned out. You even managed to make it feel like just another day on the water. FAV
Saw this on pp - yes I think you are a little bit nutty but what fun ! So creative and I would totally have done the same if only I had that imagination ! Fav
Totally missed this shot -- stunning!!! And all that work really paid off! Congrats on the top of top twenty -- this is such a creative and well imagined shot! Brilliantly executed!
@happypat I'm shocked, Pat!! I thought it was cute but, wow, the response has been crazy. The funny thing is I did another snowman shot last December that was a rating hit too. Check it out...
Thank you for stopping by, Kim.
