Those who have followed for a while know I have a thing for found letters/words. I started today's over a year ago when I found the L and O on the beach in front of our house. I knew I would use them to spell out my favourite word eventually. I literally looked for months for a V. I wanted it to be perfect in shape and size. I figured I would end up with a piece of curled bark as an E and was confident I would find one when the right time came. Last week I was looking for rocks and spotted the most perfect heart shaped one I've ever seen. I knew instantly it would go with my L and O. I made it my mission to find my missing V yesterday. I searched and searched and ended up with two feathers, I was going to put together. I was disappointed but resigned to my choice. Then, as I walked the final 20 steps from the rocks to the background grass I spotted this V. I'm such a goofball but I was seriously happy! I took another five minutes and found some bark to complete the word. I ran out of light so today I took a bunch of shots in various beach locations.
I've moved them inside and am going to display this in my living room.

I saw this on the sign in page and knew even from a little corner that it was one of yours. Immediately faved! oh how I would love to be able to walk along your beach, I spent hours as a kid with my head down searching among rocks and rock pools.

I love it! I'm glad you told how long it took to find everything. I always thought this would be fun, but I think I would be discouraged for not finding anything. I see it takes a while of searching. This is creative, and lovely.
