@maggiemae I got it the day before our hawaii trip so I've only just played with it. The toggle button is a little finicky and will take some getting used but I think I'll like it.

Man! That's a monster. What do you think of the grip? I've been kicking around getting one. I think it would help balance my heavy lenses a little better. I also like the option of vertical shutter release.

@cmc1200 Yes, it is big and slightly heavier thanks to the extra battery. I've barely used it yet but I think I like it. I take a lot of vertical shots so the trigger button and dial is very convenient. Not sure it's really worth the amount of money though. I kind of wish I got a lens instead.
