Yesterday I showed you the outside of the Duomo in Florence. If you look back you'll see some square holes before the angled roof begins. It was one of those holes that had locks of love attached. Best enlarged against black.
Very interesting. I had to look this up. The only locks of love I had ever heard of involved donating hair to make hairpieces for cancer patients. Great photo and an interesting subject matter.
Love this! Great shot. So well seen, and such fantastic light and POV. I don't know if you heard that the love locks on the Pont des Arts in Paris are to be removed and the bridge altered so that it can't happen any more. The government are concerned about the extra weight of all the locks on the bridge, rendering it unsafe.
Great capture! Love this. I hear they are taking down some of the locks in some of the bridges because they add so much weight to the bridges. This is a good alternative idea!! Lovely framing and view!
