I made this heart by folding an old thrift store bought book. I used a pattern I found on line. I messed up with the first book and had to try again. I tried this last year, without a pattern and failed miserably. I'm quite pleased I finally got it to work.
This is an excellent shot of your results. Thanks for the link, I have a friend who would appreciate this no end, I'm going to try it for her birthday.
@kandkids I messed up on my starting point. I found the centre of the book fine but somehow miscounted half back. I also used two pages per measurement to make it thicker. My book had 600 pages. I spent a $1 at the thrift soft to get one.
Well, I hadn't even scrolled down to comment before I bookmarked it and sent a copy to my daughter who was just here! We both love book arts! When I'm back to 100% I'm having my circle of artist friends over for "a play day"... This looks like JUST THE ITEM to share with them! You can't imagine the ways in which they'd take it from here! THANK YOU for sharing!
@kwind OMG...it was my daughter who told me to "have a look at Pinterest"...Yes...fabulous! I could drown in all that's available and never be heard from again!
Oh, my goodness! Your creativity delights! I can imagine the sense of accomplishment you felt when completing this project. Well done and beautifully captured!
