Yesterday I showed you the giant juvenile eagle that was on the beach right in front of our house. Well, today a beautiful bald headed eagle decided to stay a while just beyond our grass. I was able to get very close! We stared at each other for about 10 minutes and then he started to shake and gyrate which really changed his appearance. Check out his moves here: http://365project.org/kwind/extra-shots/2016-04-14
What a fabulous experience to get this close to a bald eagle! Great capture...the clarity is super, and I love that the dof blurs the background enough that it doesn't compete with the eagle yet still allows me to see the eagle's environment. FAV!
What Amanda said, though I did have my chance a few weeks ago when a juvenile landed in our (very urban tree)...that was probably the closest shot I've every had.
