I love tulips! I even went to Amsterdam's famous Keukenhof's garden but we were about a week late and the majority of the tulips were done. I was so sad!! I see so many gorgeous tulip shots on here so I bought myself a $9.99 pot full today at Costco. It's not the rows of colour I really want but they will have to do for now. Before I die, I'm going to walk fields of colourful tulips!!
Beautiful image Kim. I adore tulips as well and have walked the fields outside Amsterdam - it has to be done ;) Sadly I wasn't much into photography in those days

Yes! So these are fabulous and the colours behind suggest just that, rows and rows, so you nailed it, but the experience is still wanting. We were amazed today at the amount of tulips at Buchart Gardens a serious display, overwhelming really, so I can imagine being in Amsterdam would be unbelievable abundance!
Really lovely colours and lighting. Isn't there some tulip fields near Vancouver? I've seen Paula Wallis post photos from them a couple of years now. I'm just not sure where they are.
@kiwichick Yes, I just discovered this year they have a tulip touring farm in Abbotsford. There's another festival just north of Seattle that would be good too. One day I'll get there!
This is stunning! I was at the Keukenhof yesterday and it was the best I have ever seen it. Everything was blooming! The only downside was the thousands of other people who were visiting as well.
You should track down @pyrrhula - he knows all the places to find tulips!
