@justaspark Thank You Jule. Yes I try to do fencing (unfortunately we did not do it in school) so I was well into my 30's when I started but I do enjoy it.

I find it really interesting that you participate in this sport. It is not really well-known here, but my guess is that you must be very good at hand/eye coordination to be skilled with the sword (epee?). Nice shot!

Good for Left Hander's Day! I had a friend who fenced. I have great respect for anyone who fences, because that is something I am no good at doing.

@olivetreeann Thanks Ann. I don't have good hand / eye coordination - although it is improving because of the fencing and it is foil I use not epee as I don't like that everywhere is a target in epee.

@daisymiller Thanks Daisy - I am not good at fencing but hopefully one day I will be ok at it.

@olivetreeann Yes the target for the foil is the torso, back and the bib of the mask whereas the target for epee is everywhere - including arms, hands, legs, feet & mask. There is another weapon sabre where the target is the mask and upper torso.
