@maggiemae@gennywren Yes the Mississippi River has a LOT of water, it drains most of the continent East of the Rocky Mountains. They Transport grain, oil, salt, coal, - actually any bulk product in the bargest and on any day when the river isn't frozen over you can see a half dozen tugs with up to 17 barges on them - this tug has 9 I think - and the tug is actually a push boat - he's going upstream. There are also pleasure cruises and just plain pleasure boats all summer long.
