A New Bridge over the Canal. by ladymagpie

A New Bridge over the Canal.

Yesterday I shared with you an old 1780's bridge over the canal. Well today we move 2 miles west along the same Thames & Severn Canal and a point that has been restored.

This swing bridge dates from 2012 and replaced the old swing bridge that carries a country lane through an old farm and down to a mill. The restoration has been done so sympathetically to the past that I can't wait for the whole length to be completed. Unfortunately I don't think it will be completed in my time.
