There are fantastic views from the top of Painswick Beacon in the county of Gloucestershire, right across the Severn Vale and down towards Bristol.
It also has the remains of an old iron age fort with large ramparts which the kids love running up and down. In the photograph you can see parts that has been used as part of a golf course, but it's mostly used by walkers.

W0W! this is picture perfect! Such a spectacular view. Love the open fields with the trees and love how the top of the hill goes right into the skyline of the clouds. It has a magical appeal to it. Fav.
