Another of my views around the local villages and we come to a very pretty cottage that has been wonderfully looked after by the current owners.
This is a typical English cottage with a name to match, Between the top windows is the name plaque and date, "Rose Cottage - 1845". A rendered brick face and slate roof, what is nice isthat the house still has the original sash windows and non of your plastic double glazing.

Double fronted, white rendered, so iconically English and so pretty; sky dishes are just part of the normal living I guess these days. At least they still have the sash windows, although painting them is a nightmare and I am speaking from experience here:0)
Lovely. The addition of a satellite dish brings it into the 21st century. These dishes have taken over the world. But having breezed through Brisbane with the aid of our sat nav I am in awe of this modern technology.
