Money does grow on Trees. by ladymagpie

Money does grow on Trees.

When I was younger my older Sister thought that I was a spoilt brat and given everything as I was the baby of the family. As a child I used to ask for lots of things to the point my Mother would say, "Money doesn't grow on trees you know".

Well 60 odd years later I find it does and here is the said Money Tree, also known as a Jade tree. A very hardy plant that grows well indoors weather hot or cold. Don't think the bank is going to be impressed with me if I put those leaves over the counter.

Lol, wish it were true. Lovely shot and framing.

I have got a cutting off my grandmothers money plant - it takes two of us now to move it outside in the spring. They are almost indestructible which given my record with house plants is a good thing.

Interesting to learn their alternative name
