I thought I would give you a break of the flowers, vegetables and fruit, well just for the day. Here is one of my "Look around the Village" series and a fine old cottage in a very narrow lane. It's so narrow that I couldn't get a full frontal capture.
Between the top windows is a plaque with the cottage's date and the first owner's initials, it reads: B W B 1770. There are many old cottages like this with various age homes all around. The little road has an unusual name being Shute Street, not sure why but was previously Shute Lane and was first recorded in 1487.
