Had to pop down to my favourite place, The Ocean on the Stroudwater Canal to do some maintenance on one of my own Geocaches. I was slowly walking back along the tow path when I spotted a bird flitting between the bushes and the path.
I crept very slowly along to see what the bird was and to my surprise it was this beautiful Robin. He allowed me to get closer and closer until I was just 3 feet away and fortunately I had my camera open and around my neck.
I did think he was a bit of a poser, as it stay there for a couple of minutes and I managed to take several photographs. This one caught my eye as the expression was wonderful, I could have stayed much longer but I had to get home. I will certainly return to see what he's doing.
