Took this in my friends garden yesterday and all the Dahlias are in full bloom. Most of the other summer flowers have gone over, so it so nice to see some colour in the garden.
I'm told that on the first sign of frost the petals with fall but it's so mild in SW England at the moment that I nearly got my bikini out gain, it's OK I didn't, but it could have been great for Halloween Night, can you imagine me stood on your doorstep in the dark going "Trick or Treat".
I haven't seen this orange one before but it looks lovely against the black background.
