Brother wanted me to take to a car sales garage to look at a car for one of his Sons, so on my way back on my own I stopped off for a few geocaches. He had actually bought a car and was driving that one home.
After crossing the Cotswold Hills I dropped down a very long hill towards my home and stopped part of the way down to take in the view. This is the Severn Valley which is 99% fertile land and agriculture is the main occupation.
I can never stop looking at the view of my home area.
Okay I am going to plead utter ignorance. As yet I have not learnt something today from 365 so today will be the day to finally ask, What the heck are "geocaches"? I'm Mr google could help but I'm growing to like gaining my info from the 365 community....
@newbank It's a sport were you download a place off the PC to a hand held GPS. Off you set and follow the arrow on the GPS to find a box or item hidden away. It can be in the countryside or in a town. You then sign the logbook to show you have been and once home write a little log on your visit.
Some boxes have little toys or gifts for children to exchange - if you take something out you must put something in.
