It's been a murky weekend and the clouds haven't lifted at all. Misty mornings and dull days which does really give you much enthusiasm to get out and get some photographs. Fortunately I stop, after a slight detour from food shopping, and took this landscape across one of the valleys near home.
Many house have been built on the hillside and I liked the uniformity of the white houses, stood like soldiers in a line. The fort on the top has just about cleared from the clouds but the hills in the distance are still coated. Best thing is to get home to the warmth of my home and a good cup of tea.
@rosiekind@claireuk@fugitivemoments You are all naughty reminding me of the Pete Seager song, I can't stop sing it now. Claire there is no reason that they are white, just a fashion of the area. Thank you all so much, just going to find some ticky tacky.
Lovely panorama, Heather. Still some green, though. Our weather has been very cool and dreary, too. But I am at Colonial Lake now bravely taking a few pictures. :-)
Lovely hillside shot, are the houses white for a reason I idly wonder; white houses in my area belong to the local Lord!
