Brotherly Love. by ladymagpie

Brotherly Love.

England were playing Scotland on the TV last night and as I settled down to watch the battle my back door bell sounded. There stood my big Brother Alan, a 6ft 2" retired policeman. "I thought you weren't coming round" I inquired, to which I got the usual answer "I've been kicked out", his wife wanted to watch her programme on the TV.

This is real Brotherly Love, he walks the 50 yard distance from his home, takes the comfy chair and at half-time drinks my expensive coffee and eats my crisps, look the evidence of an empty crisp bag is in front of him.

Now lets be honest, I love him coming round for a footy match, we can both shout in harmony at the TV. That's the chair I want him to have as it leaves me sprawled out on the settee, and as for the crisps, well I want him to eat them up as I haven't touched a packet since I started my diet 2 months ago.

I love my Brother, but don't tell him the crisps are now slightly out of date.
Sounds a treasure. I spent a lot time on here whilst hubby watched football then watched my programme on the iPad. All happy. Out of date crisps? All the crunchier....

This is such a lovely happy shot and it must be nice to have your brother so near as mine lives in France so I haven't seen him since my Mum died - 3 years ago!!! I am thinking it's time I went over to see him and I've found out that Easyjet fly to Lyons from Luton which is his nearest airport or Geneva if not. Fav for this lovely shot

Cool story! I watched Germany v Spain too with 3 friends and well I guess we shouted a biiit too (okay, we sang "Oh, wie ist das schön", a fan song you normally sing at very good games at 0:0, guess we're crazy) :D
