It is such a mucky day, cold, wet and foggy but I knew that if I could get above the clouds a fantastic view can be found. Just a short drive from my home and it came clearer, I was out of the fog and heading for a parking spot.
A little stroll from the warmth of the car and this was the view looking down onto Brimscombe Valley, the place for many of my captures and where the old canal winds it's way through. I was on Rodborough Common, near the resting place of my late Sister Mo. and as it was freezing cold and drizzling, I was soon back in the car and a visit to her home for a cup of coffee with my Brother-in-Law.
So if you think about where you can get a good photograph, even Winters views are interesting. Well worth viewing enlarged with the black background.
That's a true cloud bank! How nice to get above it. We have had several days of very cloudy and rainy weather here when it's normally one of our dry months.
