You've heard of J.K.Rowling, Oscar Wild and even Beatrix Potter to name a few famous authors. Well I'm waiting to be famous with this book. It may not say Lady Magpie (Photographer) but it does say Heather Cook (Statistics) and includes 20 odd years of my stats. I always new my love of maths at school would lead me somewhere.
The latest history book of my football club Forest Green Rovers has hit many good book shops and I expect a few dodgy ones as well. Having been associated with the club for some 43 years, I can't quite remember the beginnings in 1889, but they do sarcastically ask me. The picture on the cover is an old team photograph with one of our current players, Marcus Kelly, placed on it.
The question is, will they be talking about this book, or even reproducing it, in another 125 years.
@justaspark@newbank Thank you both for viewing, @justaspark I keep every record you could imagine except the players inside leg measurement. (Wink). After every match in the league I have about 4 hours work, especially if Forest Green Rovers are playing. Today I spent the morning preparing everything including my own stats website ready for this Saturdays match.
Congratulations, even though I have to admit not understanding the passion for numbers. My husband , of course , would disagree with me. He thinks numbers are beautiful!
