Firstly, thank you for getting my little thatched cottage on the popular page, I don't get many but when I do I appreciate your FAV's.
This little row of 12 cottages is known as The Rowland Hill Almshouses in the town of Wotton-under-Edge and were built in 1879 as charitable homes for the elderly and poorer people. They are mainly single bedroom homes and to qualify you had to have lived, or have been connected with the town.
They were refurbished in 2001 and look very similar to beach huts you see at the seaside. The title comes from my link to an old song and I give you the one from Pete Seeger in 1963, enjoy the picture and song:
Lovely shot Heather and I downloaded this song as I thought about using for an AV as there are plenty of "little boxes" round about to photograph but I haven't used it yet.

Thank you all for your lovely comments and FAV's, lets hope we don't all end up in little boxes.
